We’ve taken on some pretty ambitious projects in the past, and the results have been incredible. One of our favourites? Recreating entire towns in Minecraft, where local schools and children helped rebuild their homes and favourite spots, block by block. This wasn’t just about playing a game—it was about bringing people together to create something beautiful. The finished digital towns were showcased at an art festival, where we set up a LAN world for everyone to explore and enjoy the masterpiece they’d helped build. It was a celebration of creativity, community, and collaboration.

By working on digital platforms, we’ve produced short films that tell compelling stories, challenge perceptions, and highlight important issues. Alternative Provision, Bespoke Training & Employment Support

We know that not everyone fits into the traditional mould of education. That’s why we’re proud to be a registered Alternative Provision provider with North Yorkshire County Council, offering a supportive and engaging environment for young people who might not thrive in conventional school settings. Here, it’s all about hands-on learning and focusing on what each student is good at. We help them discover their passions and build a future in technology.

Home Ed Sessions: We embrace Elected Home Educated students, offering tailored social, gaming, and learning sessions that provide a flexible, supportive learning environment. Here, home-educated children can dive into technology, pick up new skills, and connect with peers. It’s a place where learning feels less like school and more like an adventure.

Bespoke Training: At Krash Labs, we know that every student is unique, so we offer bespoke training that’s tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual. Whether it’s one-on-one sessions or group classes, we design our training around what the student wants to learn. In the past, this has included everything from 3D modelling and cybersecurity to programming and computer science. Whatever their interest, we’re here to help them explore it.

Our approach is simple: it’s all about the student. We personalise our teaching to focus on their strengths and interests—whether it’s coding, digital art, or gaming. By developing these skills, we help boost their self-confidence and provide the guidance they need to succeed. Many of the young people we work with have advanced talents that might go unnoticed in a traditional school. At Krash Labs, we don’t just recognise these talents—we celebrate them and help them shine.

We’re also working closely with other local providers of supported learning programmes for young people with learning difficulties, disabilities, and autism. Together, we aim to expand and enrich their offerings, ensuring that all young people have access to the support and opportunities they need to thrive. We’ve dived into cutting-edge technologies, like Mesh Networks, to help Big Local Communities make informed decisions. We’ve run cybersecurity awareness campaigns, provided IT support, and quickly dealt with malicious threats. Our mission is simple: to give you the knowledge and tools you need to stay secure.

And we’re expanding our impact by working with Hands on Cyber to deliver cyber training within and outside of schools, focusing on children aged 11 to 18. Together, we’re equipping the next generation with the skills they need to navigate the digital world safely and confidently.
