A Game-Changing Opportunity for Our Community
We’re incredibly proud to share that Krash Labs has been awarded an Awards for All community grant from the National Lottery! This exciting milestone isn’t just about funding, it’s a recognition of our mission to build a community where children can play, create, and connect in a safe and inclusive space.
This support marks a huge step forward in helping us reach more young people, particularly those who are neurodivergent and or affected by financial hardship, and continue creating positive, lasting impact through gaming and technology.
What This Means for Our Children and Families
Our Saturday sessions have become more than just a club, they’re a place of belonging, discovery, and friendship. With the help of this grant, we’re now able to:
Extend our programme to all year
Increase capacity, welcoming even more children
Expand our subsidised places, making sure cost is never a barrier
Upgrade our tech and tools to offer even more enriching experiences
These changes mean we can support more families, more often, and create even stronger connections through our work.
More Than Just Games
While games are the hook, the real magic of Krash Labs happens in the moments in between when children discover shared interests, work together on challenges, and grow in confidence week after week.
As one parent recently shared:
“Before Krash Labs, my son struggled to connect with peers. Now he counts down the days between sessions and talks endlessly about his new friends. What you've created here is nothing short of magical.”
For many of the children who join us, this is the first time they’ve truly felt part of something.
No Barriers, Just Opportunities
We know that times are tough for many families. That’s why we’re committed to ensuring our sessions stay open and accessible to all. With this funding, we’re able to offer more subsidised places and simplify the process so it’s discreet, respectful, and stigma-free.
Every child deserves a chance to learn, play, and grow no matter their background.
A Shared Success
This wouldn’t be possible without the amazing support of our community from the volunteers who show up every week to the families who spread the word, and of course, everyone who plays the National Lottery.
A huge thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund for believing in the power of spaces like Krash Labs places where young people can find their voice, develop digital skills, and build friendships that last beyond the screen.
What’s Next?
We’re just getting started. Over the next few months, we’ll be:
Opening registrations for our expanded sessions
Hosting volunteer evenings for those wanting to get involved
Launching community events to showcase the creativity of our young people
We’ll also be sharing impact updates and stories from our participants, so keep an eye on our blog and socials.
Be Part of the Journey
Whether you’re a parent, a young person, a volunteer, or just someone who believes in what we do we’d love for you to be part of our next chapter.
Together, we’re not just building games.
We’re building futures.
Let’s level up together. 🎮💙
